A Peek At My Week! #151

Hello, friends and fans!

Welcome to another “Peek At My Week” – May 27, 2024! Here are some things that happened this past week!

News About Writing & Publishing: This Is The Current State Of Things

  • General News – I’m still working on the new (5th) volume of Panic! Horror In Space I started working on last week, although progress is being slowed by circumstances. As I’ve mentioned for most of this year previously, things are a little difficult right now, and not very conducive to writing and creativity – as soon as it’s appropriate, I will be sure to let you know why. In the meantime, I beg your indulgence, and your patience! I apologize for not having terribly much “news” to share with you lately, but unfortunately that’s just how things are right now, and will probably remain so for a while. At least until the end of June. That said, “it” – whatever “it” is, has progressed beyond the first and second rounds!  I will leave this up for as long as appropriate.
  • Sionara, Twitter – In the meantime, last week Twitter/X whatever the fuck the Muskrat calls it these days, suspended my account for daring to tell Israeli warmonger Benjamin Nethanyahu what a nasty piece of work he is, and that genocidal monstrous terrorists like him deserve to be at the end of a rope. Only seconds later, my account was locked out and I was unable to get in again – which is quite remarkably different I’m sure, to all the times I reported accounts for posting literal calls for genocide and other horrific things posted by the morass of right wing loons that infest the bloated corpse of Twitter. Actually, it came as something of a relief that I could part ways with Twitter – it was only a matter of time before I was going to delete my account anyway since using Twitter felt increasingly like voluntarily swimming in sewage, but I must add that I’m satisfied that this was how it ended – with my final act on that festering platform being me speaking truth to power – to the monsters who distort the facts to suit their narratives and try to wave away all dissent and challenges with blood-soaked hands.
  • What Readers Say: I know I can’t please everybody (so I’m not trying to!). That said, it pleases me when I see that I’ve managed to do it anyway! If there’s nothing new below, just pop along here to have a look at all the reader’s comments I’ve collected so far.
  • Articles: This past week I posted “Just Let It Go“.

In Conclusion

As always, I’ll keep you posted about any new developments, so until then, I wish you all a pleasant week!

Thanks a lot for all your friendship and support, I hope you know it is deeply appreciated – and remember, keep reading!

Cheers!
