Good morning, friends and fans!

Welcome to a “Peek Into My Week”, a behind the scenes look into the (I hope) noteworthy events in my life – April 12, 2022!

Here then, are some things that happened in my life this past week:

News About Writing & Publishing:

As I told you last week, I registered with KDP at long last, and began putting my books up there. As I’m still waiting for Moon Books to start taking my books down from their KDP account before I can start putting them up on mine, I set about uploading the ones Moon Books never got around to! This mainly includes non-fiction works so far, and last week I told you about the three academic papers I published in eBook form.

This past weekend and over the last few days, I also uploaded the following titles, now available on my Amazon listing as eBooks:

Some of these may look familiar to you, and you’d be right! “The LGBT Activist’s Friend” is the new title of the former “Pink Community – the Facts”, and “Beetle Preserves” is the new title of “Bugspray”. It’s never easy to change a book’s title, but sometimes it’s just the thing to make sure it gets the attention it deserves. Besides, I think “Beetle Preserves” is a lot more tasty than the rather vague “Bugspray” reference. After all, who would really associate insect spray with a car? Well, perhaps the same sort of people who would associate their favorite car with jam! Er – anyway, the titles of the rest remain unchanged, but several of the covers received some attention and were either spruced up or replaced entirely.

While they’re now up as eBooks on Amazon, I still have to upload the paperback versions, but that’s something I’ll get around to a little later.

In the meantime, I’ll be putting up a few more titles on KDP – titles which have had reduced distribution for some time, due to the proclivities of some distributors: for example, Smashwords doesn’t allow books with ANY pictures or illustrations inside.
