Panic! Horror In Space in Audiobook Format?

I’m happy to tell you that Darla Middlebrook is keen to narrate the Panic! Horror in Space series as well, as soon as we can figure out how to do this without the services of a middle-man! In the light of this possibility, I created an account with Audiobooks Unleashed on Saturday and have begun investigating how that would work. I’ll keep you posted on this matter too.

As Easy As Falling Off A Ladder!

On Friday afternoon I got home a little earlier than usual, so I decided to cut back the giant branch of the tree growing over the garage entrance. A little brief history: I’d requested the municipality to do so several times and the best they could do was cut back the branches AROUND the branch I needed removed… So, I decided that day was the perfect opportunity to do it myself.

There I was, atop my wooden A-frame ladder, cutting the last branch on the very end with my reciprocating power saw. Then finally, it came down, twisted, and took the ladder out under me!

Rather than getting hurt as I should’ve, I was rather surprised that when the ladder went one way, I went the other… and landed cat-like on my feet. I was able to continue uninterrupted.

The branch was all chopped up and moved to the garden for braai wood. The main trunk needs a chain saw to bring it down… and someone to operate the chainsaw. But that is for another day. The ladder’s a little mangled and needs to be straightened out, but that too is a job for another day.

An Air Fryer In The Post!

No, we didn’t just win the lotto! Rather, we’re expecting this wonderful and surprising gift from the Outlaws (what we call Kay’s parents) to arrive sometime today! Thanks again, Tom and Dina for the fantastic gift! We’re really looking forward to eating like queens on a small budget!
