Good morning, friends and fans!
Welcome to a “Peek Into My Week”, a behind the scenes look into the (I hope) noteworthy events in my life – August 8, 2022!
Here are some things that happened in my life this past week:
News About Writing & Publishing:
Carrying On Writing, Regardless
This is the current state of things:
- My book titles on my Amazon page recently appeared to be reorganizing themselves as Elizabeth took down the existing titles from the Moon Books Publishing KDP account. The audiobooks now appear detached by themselves as the eBooks and paperback versions were removed. This is already an improvement as I was concerned about the previous versions superseding the new ones.
- After receiving the manuscripts for Panic! Horror in Space last week, Darla jumped right into recording “Static“! I already received and listened to the first part from her on Tuesday! Wiffle and I had a good giggle and enjoyed it very much – can’t wait for the release!
- On Saturday morning I received a note from Elizabeth that she would be consulting with ACX about taking down the audiobooks and returning the rights to them to the authors. This would mean I’d need to speak to my narrators and see if they’ll agree to republish them through Spoken Realms.
- I received a note from KDP to inform me that they accepted the second letter from Moon Books, which is excellent news! This means that I can now go ahead with re-publishing all my titles independently that were with MBP.
In preparation for the release of the Panic! Series audiobooks, I designed covers for them in the meantime! I’m rather impressed and proud of how they turned out! 
As for the rest, Kay and I had a quiet weekend under the covers with the cats! Both of us appear to be fighting off colds and such, so there hasn’t been much energy to spare for anything else!
