Good morning, friends and fans!
Welcome to a “Peek Into My Week”! Here’s a look at some of my latest news: March 6, 2023! Here are some things that happened this past week.
News About Writing & Publishing: This Is The Current State Of Things
Let’s take a look at the current status quo on various ongoing issues affecting my writing or publishing:
- Writing: Over the past few weeks since I returned to work, I was unable to do much writing. Last week, I continued work on my new academic paper entitled “By Their Fruits You Shall Know Them: A Proposed Framework By Which To Understand & Categorize Self-proclaimed ‘Occult Experts'” – AND completed it! This paper draws heavily on several of the other papers I wrote in the same field of New Religious Movements, namely:
- “Satanism: The Acid Test“,
- “Satanism vs Pseudo-satanism: Disambiguation And Argument Against Conflation From Within Religious Satanism“,
- “A Date With The Devil – Occult & Satanic Calendars Debunked” and
- “Devil’s Advocate: The 666 Gangs – Why They Aren’t Satanists, How They Distorted South African Law Enforcement’s Perception Of Occult Religions, & The Consequences“.
I published the paper on the 2nd of March.
- Articles: Last week, I published the following articles: “What is Satanism – Really? And What Isn’t? An Academic Assessment“.
- What Readers Say: I’m not sure, I can’t please everybody – drop me a line and let me know how I’m doing?
- Coming Events: Hello, Readers! This is Read an EBook Week on Smashwords, a week that encourages readers to pick up the digital device of their choice and download a new book to read. I’m excited to announce that, starting on March 5, 22 of my books will be available as part of a promotion on Smashwords to celebrate Read an eBook Week 2023! This is a chance to get my books, at a half-price discount so you can get right to reading! You will find my eBooks here, so save the link:
https://www.smashwords.com/profile/view/christinaengelaIf you wouldn’t mind taking part in promoting this celebration of eBooks and reading, please feel free to share this promo with your friends and family, or to anyone who would love a chance to find their next favorite book and, as the name suggests, read an eBook a week! Thank you for your help and support! Happy reading!
Other Stuff:
We got a new cat. That’s right – we now have four of the critters! Little Kali started out as Birdie when we got her because she sounded just like a bird, then we tried Rocsy, but that didn’t take – but she likes Kali just fine! just as well, because I doubt there’s another name that would suit a lively, insane little tuxedo bullet like her! In the photo she looks deceptively still and restful, doesn’t she?
That’s all for this week!
As always, I’ll keep you posted about any further developments. And remember:
In spite of some of my books having been on Amazon since 2005, not one of them has yet reached 10 reviews on any platform, let alone 50! I would really appreciate your help on this! Come on, leave a review – it’s free!
I wish you all a pleasant week until next time!
