“Self-Publishing 101: A complete guide to becoming an indie author – by Christina Engela

Many people today have a story or two to tell – the only trouble is, it’s what comes after that part that stumps them. Writing (or typing) the story is only the first part of the journey for an author. What do you do next? How do you get it out there? Do you send them to every publishing company you can find in the yellow pages in the hope that someone – anyone – will show interest?

What about publishing it yourself? Does that sound crazy, or what?

The internet has changed the face of the publishing industry and ended monopolization by “traditional” publishers – opening the field up for ANYONE to self-publish their own books – AND being successful at it!

You too – yes, you sir – and you, ma’am – can wear the distinguished hat of an author!

In ‘Self-Publishing 101: A complete guide to becoming an indie author’, Christina Engela – herself an indie author with more than 20 published titles in fiction and non-fiction, relates – and demonstrates in more than forty illustrations – how easy it is to self-publish a book in paperback and EBook form!

It’s so easy even she could do it – come on, give it a try!

[Contains more than 60 illustrations]”

Willie Horn, this is your fault!” – Christina Engela

‘Self-Publishing 101: A complete guide to becoming an indie author’ by Christina Engela, gives easy to follow instructions in a 191 page EBook laden with screenshots and oodles of tips shared from her more than ten years experience writing and self-publishing as an indie author.

In the book, Christina relates her experiences with so-called “traditional” publishers, literary agencies, and small presses – some good, more bad, and all of them “school fees”.

She talks the reader step by step through the processes of formatting their first completed book according to a template, designing a cover for it, and then preparing it for self-publishing in paperback and EBook versions. Through the use of screenshots and examples, Christina walks the reader through the uploading and publishing process until Bam! the reader becomes a published author themselves!

She doesn’t just abandon them there however, she also imparts her experience in what comes after – marketing and social media interaction, and details how to promote their books online, and how to make good use of the author’s own website, which she also provides solid pointers for.

‘Self-Publishing 101: A complete guide to becoming an indie author’ is a well thought-out execution of the author’s desire – born out of the many desperate questions she has been asked over the years – to help other indie authors to achieve self-publishing success.
