Hello, friends and fans!
Welcome to another “Peek At My Week” for December 11, 2023! Here are some things that happened this past week!
News About Writing & Publishing: This Is The Current State Of Things
- Writing: After finishing and publishing a pretty impressive (if I say so myself) seven projects this year (including a one-act play, three illustrated guides and two whole novels) I’m enjoying a well-earned break from writing! Come on, don’t begrudge me a few days off – besides, after a few days off, my fingers will soon get itchy and I’ll feel like writing again!
- Publishing: “Freedom Inc” (book 1 in my new sci-fi adventure series, “Threaders“) is now available in eBook and paperback formats via Amazon, my Shop! You can also get if for FREE if you sign up to be a patron on my new profile. At 100,180 words, this book is officially the longest novel I’ve ever written!
- Articles: This past week I posted “Visit My EBook Store On Payhip & Pay Less!“
- What Readers Say: I know I can’t please everybody (so I’m not trying to!). That said, it really pleases me when I see that I’ve managed to do it anyway! Drop me a line and let me know how you think I’m doing – or leave me a review on Amazon or Audible! Opsaal received the following reader’s comment on 2 December:
A Family Tormented
“Opsaal is a well written, true story that literally gave me creeps. The family was repeatedly tormented by something that made their lives a living hell. This book may have been short, but it packs a lot into it. I highly recommend this book if you love books about haunted houses, especially true stories.” – Blackeagle, audible review for Opsaal , December 2, 2023.
- Marketing: It’s the end of the year again, so I updated “Portfolio” – my free downloadable brochure featuring all my current books. You can download it from the Downloads page, or just by clicking the cover below:

As always, I’ll keep you posted about any further developments, so until then, I wish you all a pleasant week! For me, as I’m wrapping this up, it’s still weekend – so I’ll be getting back to whatever I’m keeping myself busy with, and catch you later!
In spite of some of my books having been on Amazon since 2005, not one of them has yet reached the magical 51 reader reviews yet! (The highest number any of them has, is 10 – which is a pretty good number compared to many others, but it’s still not high enough for the almighty Amazon!) I would really appreciate your help on this! Come on, leave a review – it’s free!
